Definition for : Dual class shares
Dual class Shares are ordinary Shares in a company which carry different voting rights. These are Shares issued against the common principle one Share equals one voting right. Companies can issue Multiple voting shares, subordinate voting Shares, restricted voting Shares and Non-voting shares.
